The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Francisco Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Lucas in the 6th minute of play forced Cronapp FC's goalkeeper Luizão Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Aguiar having to interfere. The supporters of Juventus United FC booed when Cronapp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Aguiar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Lucas in the 14th minute of play forced Cronapp FC's goalkeeper Luizão Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Francisco Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luizão Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juventus United FC's Gláuber Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Cronapp FC's Almir Mangueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gláuber Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dedê Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almir Mangueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Almir Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almir Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Mangueira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dedê Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If João Francisco Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Tavares having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Cronapp FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Souza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Mangueira in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Washington Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Juventus United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Falcão came free, but João Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, João Francisco Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gláuber Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luizão Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gláuber Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 played minutes Cronapp FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Souza. João Francisco Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Luizão Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Falcão in the 91st minute of the match. The Juventus United FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cronapp FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
