Evandro de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton de Amorim in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sapezal FC's Luiz Gustavo Perez got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Tobi's Ediberto Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evandro de Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Evandro de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Tobi's Ediberto Brasil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evandro de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fernando Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evandro de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Evandro de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton de Amorim in the 36th minute of play. Evandro de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Camargo in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Dias to make the kick off. Elivélton de Amorim in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With an all-out effort, Tobi's Evandro de Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ediberto Brasil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elivélton de Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Evandro de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elivélton de Amorims short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Evandro de Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the match, Tobi's Ediberto Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evandro de Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Elivélton de Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evandro de Azevedo. Sapezal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elivélton de Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 77th minute of the match, Ediberto Brasil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evandro de Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ediberto Brasil struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Evandro de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobi. Elivélton de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Evandro de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Sapezal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton de Amorim came free, but Evandro de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Evandro de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
