Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tobi's Ediberto Brasil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Paulo Gaúcho made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Maria França in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, José Maria Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Luís Paulo Gaúcho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamonas Assassinas. Mamonas Assassinas's José Maria França got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Elivélton de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elivélton de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ediberto Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maicon Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Maicon Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Brasil in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mamonas Assassinas's zone, Elivélton de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Branco came out of the goal and Elivélton de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Tobi fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Tobi's Elivélton de Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mamonas Assassinas's Maicon Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Brasil in the 40th minute of play. Elivélton de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Maicon Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maicon Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto Brasil's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Maria França to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Tobi got a freekick which was hit by Walmir de Brito. If Elivélton de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria França, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamonas Assassinas's goalkeeper Maicon Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maicon Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton de Amorim succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 96th playminute.
