Arariuna's Zé Carlos Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas de Alcântara in the 79th minute of play. If José Pedro Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, José Pedro Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Joazeirinho's Oséas de Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Carlos Luz. That made the score 1-3 after 95 minutes of play. When the match was over Joazeirinho could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arariuna throughout the match.
