Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Capipi SS's Cláudio Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Capipi SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Sanches came free, but Elói Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capipi SS's zone, Chico Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Bittencourt came out of the goal and Chico Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Tomás Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói Bittencourt. Capipi SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Sanches in the 14th minute of play forced Capipi SS's goalkeeper Elói Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kaká Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Zonta thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Serafim Aguiar, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 1-1. Tomás Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Tomás Sanches who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capipi SS's Elói Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráusio Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráusio Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Capipi SS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dráusio Neto hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Chico Quirino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capipi SS's Elói Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Arabiano Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Antunes came free, but Serafim Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomás Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Arabiano Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Sanches couldn't finish the play. After having played for 40 minutes, Tomás Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arabiano Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chico Quirino's late challenge caught a Capipi SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chico Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arabiano Team getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Chico Quirino hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Chico Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elói Bittencourt having to make a save. After 53 played minutes Capipi SS got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Penha. Elói Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Quirino in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Antunes in the 69th minute of play forced Arabiano Team's goalkeeper Serafim Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yan Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Bittencourt having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Arabiano Team got a freekick which was hit by Yan Koehler. In the 79th minute, Vítor Terra sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arabiano Team's Serafim Aguiar didn't even have to move. Elói Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cláudio Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Serafim Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yan Koehler hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Tomás Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Arabiano Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Sanches couldn't finish the play. Arabiano Team's Chico Quirino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Arabiano Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arabiano Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
