Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nico Lopez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nespol's goalkeeper Cléberson Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cléberson Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Lopez went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Nespol's Dalmo Esteves got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rony Alvarenga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Claudinei Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Teixeira having to interfere. In the 20th minute Benedito Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Nespol's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé da Fonseca came free, but Cléberson Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nespol's goalkeeper Cléberson Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes of play, Tabira SC's Nico Lopez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 32nd play minutes Benedito Vidal shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Augusto Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. Claudinei Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cléberson Teixeira having to make a save. Nespol's Cléberson Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Matorin in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Nico Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Teixeira having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito Vidal to make the kick off. Cléberson Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Matorin in the 52nd minute. Claudinei Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Luís Fábio de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Benedito Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nespol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Luís Fábio de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Tabira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Lopez to maneuver through the defense. When Benedito Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Nespol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito Vidal couldn't finish the play. Cléberson Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Lopez in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Claudinei Matorin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cléberson Teixeira, passed just outside the right post. Despite being the better team, Tabira SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
