With 23 minutes on the clock, Nestor Pombal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Tabira SC's Claudinei Matorin got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico Lopez to make the kick off. It was joyful for the audience to see Christian Amorim dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 59th played minute and put the ball into the net. 0-2. Naldo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Lopez in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Tabira SC's goalkeeper Augusto Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego da Costa. 73 minutes into the match, Rafa Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Mendonça. Tabira SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rafa Oliveira hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Naldo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, lanzoni EC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Matorin came free, but Naldo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
