If Cido Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Viana in the 7th minute of play forced Sarandy FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarandy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when João Francisco Viana scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Penha, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Albuquerque in the 15th minute of play forced Kanitah's goalkeeper João Francisco Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kanitah's João Francisco Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho do Valle in the 19th minute of play. João Francisco Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho do Valle in the 20th minute of play. Cido Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarandy FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Penha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedrinho do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

João Francisco Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leonardo Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Sarandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Britto came free, but Leonardo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Leonardo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Britto in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cido Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanitah's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Viana in the 70th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Sarandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Viana came free, but Leonardo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When João Francisco Viana came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kanitah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco Viana couldn't finish the play. Cido Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Penha having to interfere. Sarandy FC's Leonardo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Viana in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Sarandy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Britto came free, but Leonardo Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94th play minutes João Francisco Viana shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Leonardo Penha and just under the crossbar into goal.
