Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedrinho do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Tinoco having to interfere. Mário Alagoano hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Leonardo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Pedrinho do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Duarte Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfredinho Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Penha was a little too slow when Alfredinho Ramalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. Norberto Viana hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Roger Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredinho Ramalho was the one to do the kick off. BZ FC's Gilberto de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Pedrinho do Valle sent off a good shot on target. If Pedrinho do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roger Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th match minute, Sarandy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Dias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pedrinho do Valle took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Tinoco. Duarte Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Roger Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Gilberto de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BZ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BZ FC's Duarte Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Albuquerque in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sarandy FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
