Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Guaraense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Aparecido came free, but Anselmo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Aníbal Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guaraense FC's Juan Guedes in 20 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Emanuel Vergílio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 22nd minute Didi Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Pereira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geraldo Peixoto. When Didi Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Tarauaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Aparecido couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Guaraense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Aparecido came free, but Anselmo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Guaraense FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Paraense. In the 38th minute, Marco Sarmento sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaraense FC's Anselmo Pereira didn't even have to move. Emanuel Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Guedes in the 41st minute of play. Juan Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emanuel Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Juan Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Edinho Sanches suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Christian Damião, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Didi Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaraense FC's Anselmo Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarauaca's Didi Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Juan Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaraense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Guaraense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Soares to maneuver through the defense. Tarauaca's Jacinto de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Didi Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tarauaca getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aníbal Trigo hit a great ball. When Juan Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Guaraense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Guedes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Aparecido in the 96th minute of play forced Guaraense FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
