Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcinho Marques started the match with the kick off. Caco Lopez came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Biguacu's Júlio Toscano. But to his dismay, Júlio Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Júlio Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biguacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Biguacu's Raimundo Diniz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Raimundo Diniz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Biguacu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Brejo Alegre Futebol Club. Elói Saldanha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Fernando Prestes. 1-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's goalkeeper Caco Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Brejo Alegre Futebol Club booed when Biguacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Fernando Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Caco Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dito Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Caco Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Marcinho Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manoel de Almeida received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caco Lopez came out and tried to block the shot, but Manoel de Almeida slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Biguacu's Joaquim Mello got a free kick in the 51st minute. Júlio Toscano fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 54th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 56th minute Joaquim Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes in the game, Marcinho Marques fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Fernando Prestes having to interfere. Dito Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Lopez having to interfere. Caco Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Mello in the 61st minute of play. Paulo Renato Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Prestes having to interfere. Dito Rossi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Caco Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biguacu. 67 minutes into the match, Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Mello came free, but Caco Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Dito Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's zone, Joaquim Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Lopez came out of the goal and Joaquim Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Biguacu's Joaquim Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caco Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Zé Paulo Correia made a precise shot to the right of Caco Lopez. Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Arlindo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biguacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brejo Alegre Futebol Club the free kick. After 87 played minutes, Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's Elói Saldanha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Prestes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brejo Alegre Futebol Club reached it. Manoel de Almeida hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dito Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caco Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Caco Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Cabral's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Caco Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Renato Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Carlos Fernando Prestes made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Biguacu had played much better football throughout.
