Ediberto França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Gomes in the 41st minute of the match. Geovani da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Teodoro Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Durval Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The supporters of Farias booed when Gallaxy Atletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Farias's Geovani da Cunha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Madureira. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. Teodoro Madureira made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Geovani da Cunha sent off a good shot on target.
