The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arlindo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Haroldo Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafa Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, FOX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Sá to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, FOX's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Donatello came free, but Wanderson Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Rafa Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Soares in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Rafa Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real de Leywin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa Donatello was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Arlindo Carvalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arlindo Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Haroldo Velasco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Augusto Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Donatello in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wanderson Vergílio saved FOX from getting behind. Durvalino de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wanderson Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Armando de Toledo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FOX's Wanderson Vergílio didn't even have to move. In the 67th minute Durvalino de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FOX's Wanderson Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Donatello in the 69th minute of play. Durvalino de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Wanderson Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real de Leywin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino de Medeiros in the 72nd minute of play forced FOX's goalkeeper Wanderson Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, FOX's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Donatello came free, but Wanderson Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FOX's zone, Luís Guilherme de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson Vergílio came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FOX defense, Rafa Donatello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wanderson Vergílio. The FOX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wanderson Vergílio should have stopped the shot. In the 85thth minute of the game Rafa Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FOX's Wanderson Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Rafa Donatello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real de Leywin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind FOX's goalkeeper Wanderson Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real de Leywin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
