Zé Augusto Meira was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Wiliam Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wiliam Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Wiliam Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Zé Augusto Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Jailson Macedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Augusto Meira. The goal made the score 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino de Amorim came free, but Remo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's Remo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Bertassi in the 20th minute of play. Lino de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Peixoto having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Percy de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr and the BANDEIRA BRANCA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's Jailson Macedo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zé Augusto Meira. 29 minutes into the game, Wiliam Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr the free kick. A collision led to BANDEIRA BRANCA FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Wiliam Freire hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Cacá Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Remo Peixoto. BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Wiliam Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haroldo de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 44 minutes into the game, Lino de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Remo Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lino de Amorim scored 3-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remo Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cipriano Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Meira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Wiliam Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Augusto Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's Jailson Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of BANDEIRA BRANCA FC booed when Ziriguidum Futebol Clubr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. BANDEIRA BRANCA FC's Remo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo de Alcântara in the 75th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Remo Peixoto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zé Augusto Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Freire in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Wiliam Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Augusto Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jailson Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot.
