Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ediberto Prado started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ediberto Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Cosme. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 8th minute, Váldson Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Márcio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Prado in the 21st minute of the match. When Vivaldo Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Souzania SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Jacinto couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ediberto Prado took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Clemente Cosme to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Cajubim's zone, Vivaldo Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Cosme came out of the goal and Vivaldo Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Juvenal Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Róbson Abraão made a kick off. After 52 minutes Cajubim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Vítor Cearense who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in João Vítor Cearense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cajubim's Clemente Cosme did a great save. David Loureiro's late challenge caught a Cajubim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. David Loureiro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Clemente Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Souzania SS's Ediberto Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Souzania SS booed when Cajubim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Prado in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Vivaldo Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Cosme. Cajubim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Jorginho Alves fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cajubim's protests and gave Jorginho Alves a yellow card for diving instead. Vivaldo Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Cajubim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Alves to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Cajubim's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Jacinto came free, but Clemente Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Prado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Márcio Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Vivaldo Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Prado in the 94th minute of the match. If Vivaldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Ediberto Prado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Souzania SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Souzania SS had won after a very even match.
