Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joffily EC's Diamantino Teles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Joffily EC booed when Araguar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joffily EC's Claudinho Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diamantino Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Araguar getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Nascimento hit a great ball. A long shot from Murillo Barreto in the 16th minute of play was well struck, but Alfredinho Couto made a really good save at the right post. Remo Gomes succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Joffily EC's Leonardo Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Gomes in the 25th minute of play. Leonardo Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Joffily EC's zone, Edmundo Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Pinheiro came out of the goal and Edmundo Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute of the match Flávio Tinoco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Pinheiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alfredinho Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Teles in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Flávio Tinoco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Pinheiro skillfully saved the ball. Leonardo Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Gomes in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Joffily EC defense, Remo Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Pinheiro. The Joffily EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Vander got free with Alfredinho Couto in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmundo Amaral scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Edmundo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leonardo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Remo Gomes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonardo Pinheiro, passed just outside the right post. Remo Gomes took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Pinheiro. Leonardo Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Edmundo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Pinheiro having to interfere. Cícero Maia's late challenge caught a Araguar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cícero Maia helped the player get up and apologised. If Geovani Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Gomes in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araguar and the Joffily EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diamantino Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Remo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leonardo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remo Gomes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Remo Gomes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. Claudinho Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Gomes struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Leonardo Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araguar.
