Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arnaldo França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Esteves in the 4th minute of play. When Chumbado SS's Dinei Esteves in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Star FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dinei Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo França having to interfere. Betinho Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Robinho Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Arnaldo França when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Robinho Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Golden Star FC booed when Chumbado SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Pontes in the 19th minute of play. Willian Cardozo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betinho Vander. Betinho Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Barral in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Zé Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Pontes in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Golden Star FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo França had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robinho Ramos. Arnaldo França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chumbado SS's Dinei Esteves in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Star FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge de Andrade lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Golden Star FC booed when Chumbado SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Golden Star FC got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Pontes. Robinho Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Arnaldo França skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elivélton Pontes's late challenge caught a Chumbado SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elivélton Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robinho Ramos made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Willian Cardozo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Betinho Vander to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Golden Star FC's Betinho Vander threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Willian Cardozo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnaldo França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Dinei Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Golden Star FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. In the 70thth minute of the game Robinho Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Star FC's Arnaldo França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was a brilliant solo performance by Golden Star FC's Elivélton Pontes when he shot the ball into the net to 0-3 in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute Franklin de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Chumbado SS's Robinho Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo França narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Franklin de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo França was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Chumbado SS's Franklin de Souza got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dinei Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo França having to interfere. The Chumbado SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Star FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Star FC.
