Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabrício Saraiva kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulysses Prestes was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo de Carvalho in the 5th minute of play forced Paleomano's goalkeeper Fernandinho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ulysses Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ulysses Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Saraiva in the 20th minute of play. Edmundo Ribeiros short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Ulysses Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fernandinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Bernardo de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Fernandinho Carneiro. Paleomano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. CR Fla Chelsea's Ulysses Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Saraiva in the 35th minute of play. Edmundo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Prestes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Bertassi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Carneiro saved Paleomano from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Décio Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CR Fla Chelsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paleomano the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Saraiva in the 44th minute of play forced CR Fla Chelsea's goalkeeper Ulysses Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Saraiva in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fabrício Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Paleomano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Saraiva couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Ribeiro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulysses Prestes saved CR Fla Chelsea from getting behind. Edmundo Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ulysses Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Paleomano's Fabrício Saraiva made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulysses Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Bernardo de Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernandinho Carneiro. Bernardo de Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 78 played minutes CR Fla Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Novaes. Edmundo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílton Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gugu Novaes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The Paleomano fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Paleomano's Edmundo Ribeiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Edmundo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Décio Alagoano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After 94 played minutes CR Fla Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Décio Alagoano. After having played for 96 minutes, Edmundo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paleomano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chants of CR Fla Chelsea echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Paleomano had held the ball for most of the match.
