Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anísio Peres started the match with the kick off. Cafu Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Marques in the 7th minute. When El Golin's Rony Queiroz in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eürean FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leandro de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Elano Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leandro de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th match minute, Eürean FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Leandro de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Décio Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cafu Bertassi made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Gerson Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eürean FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Golin the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Eürean FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Vidal to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rony Queiroz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in El Golin's zone, Elano Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro de Medeiros came out of the goal and Elano Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Elano Madureira could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Leandro de Medeiros however easily saved by the left post. Leandro de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Peres in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Rony Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eürean FC's Cafu Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Golin's Leandro de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save El Golin from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Anísio Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Leandro de Medeiros made a huge save. 74 minutes in the game, Anísio Peres fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leandro de Medeiros having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Décio Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cafu Bertassi. Eürean FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Décio Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Leandro de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Eürean FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Caetano Ferraz hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Rubinho Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu Bertassi skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Elano Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eürean FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elano Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Golin's Leandro de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save El Golin from getting a goal against them. Eürean FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
