Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Carlos Saldanha started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Arranca Toco FC booed when Reriutaba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Osvaldo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arranca Toco FC's Osvaldo Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Marinho in the 21st minute of play. Osvaldo Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luiz Marinho's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Reriutaba SS's André Luiz Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osvaldo Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Marinho in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that André Luiz Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Lago was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. André Luiz Marinho hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Eduardo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 47th minute, Reriutaba SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Carlos Saldanha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luiz Marinho to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter Prata during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 52 minutes into the match, Marco Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Maciel. Reriutaba SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. André Luiz Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Osvaldo Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marco Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Arranca Toco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Lopez couldn't finish the play. João Carlos Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arranca Toco FC's Marco Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Arranca Toco FC booed when Reriutaba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luiz Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lago having to interfere. When André Luiz Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Reriutaba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luiz Marinho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Arranca Toco FC's zone, Eduardo Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Lago came out of the goal and Eduardo Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Romeros short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Osvaldo Lago to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Marinho in the 84th minute of play forced Arranca Toco FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Saldanha in the 89th minute of play forced Reriutaba SS's goalkeeper Cícero Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Reriutaba SS's Eduardo Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Reriutaba SS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arranca Toco FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
