Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabrício Terra started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Calumbi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Digo de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Tostão Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrício Terra's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, FLAMONT FC.'s Fabrício Terra got a free kick in the 8th minute. José Paulo Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Seco in the 9th minute. Tostão Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Linhares in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Betinho Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Paulo Marques was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The supporters of Calumbi AD booed when FLAMONT FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calumbi AD's Betinho Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oswaldo Ribeiro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fabrício Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tostão Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FLAMONT FC.'s José Paulo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Penha in the 33rd minute of play. Silvinho Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cruz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Digo de Carvalho during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Digo de Carvalho hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Claudinei Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrício Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Cruz having to interfere. Tostão Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Terra in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betinho Penha was the one to do the kick off. Claudinei Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, FLAMONT FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Penha came free, but José Paulo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Penha in the 62nd minute of play forced FLAMONT FC.'s goalkeeper José Paulo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. José Paulo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Cruz having to make a save. When Fabrício Terra came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FLAMONT FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Terra couldn't finish the play. Claudinei Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Paulo Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinei Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute Betinho Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calumbi AD's Claudinei Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FLAMONT FC.'s Jaime Bastos got a free kick in the 88th minute. José Paulo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the FLAMONT FC. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Calumbi AD.
