Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raúl Netto started the match with the kick off. Charles Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Bactéria F. C.'s Raúl Netto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raúl Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, La Academia de Avellaneda's Charles Castro got control of the ball when Eliseu Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Luiz Fernando Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Faustino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Raúl Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bactéria F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Academia de Avellaneda's Charles Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Netto in the 24th minute of play. Charles Castro had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Raúl Netto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Bactéria F. C.'s Raúl Netto in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Academia de Avellaneda's goalie prevented a goal. Caetano Faustino came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by La Academia de Avellaneda's Luiz Fernando Alves. But to his dismay, Luiz Fernando Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eliseu Freitas's late challenge caught a La Academia de Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Academia de Avellaneda booed when Bactéria F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Faustino having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Bactéria F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Araújo came free, but Caetano Faustino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Alves made the kick off in the second half. Caetano Faustino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Alves in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Alves in the 58th minute of play forced Bactéria F. C.'s goalkeeper Caetano Faustino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the La Academia de Avellaneda defense, Raúl Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Castro. The La Academia de Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Castro should have stopped the shot. La Academia de Avellaneda's Waldir Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Waldir Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Academia de Avellaneda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Raúl Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Charles Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to La Academia de Avellaneda getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Albertinho Amorim hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bactéria F. C.'s José Pedro Tepedino tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bactéria F. C.'s Vladimir Romero got a free kick in the 91st minute.
