Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Victor Lira made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Victor Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Carneiro in the 9th minute of play forced Caputera's goalkeeper Hermínio de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermínio de Alcântara having to make a save. In the 16th minute Victor Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victor Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Caputera defense, Vítor Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermínio de Alcântara. The Caputera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermínio de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Caputera's zone, Victor Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio de Alcântara came out of the goal and Victor Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Aimin SS fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Aimin SS's Victor Lira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Linares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th play minute Vítor Carneiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermínio de Alcântara. 0-5. Vítor Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio de Alcântara having to interfere. Enéas Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Caputera got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Simões. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Vítor Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aimin SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermínio de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermínio de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Boman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Linares scored 1-5 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Caputera's Hermínio de Alcântara got control of the ball when Vítor Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vítor Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Aimin SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Carneiro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Caputera getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cacá Barral hit a great ball. Aimin SS's Victor Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Vítor Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aimin SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Caputera booed when Aimin SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
