Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nildo Matorin started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Gamelleira FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. André Luís Neiva hit a great ball. Clóvis Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís Neiva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, Gamelleira FC's Frédson Zonta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Faustino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nildo Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Wágner Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonsinho Fernandez during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Afonsinho Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Faustino having to interfere. Eliseu Faustino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eliseu Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Décio Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Frédson Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gamelleira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frédson Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Décio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Décio Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frédson Zonta got free with Eliseu Faustino in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Frédson Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Gamelleira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Zonta couldn't finish the play. If Décio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Décio Vale got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 68th minute Nildo Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frédson Zonta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Eliseu Faustino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Saldanha in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wágner Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clóvis Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nildo Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Wágner Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Gamelleira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Matorin came free, but Wágner Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sarutai's Clóvis Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseu Faustino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Cauã do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wágner Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Gamelleira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Prado came free, but Wágner Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Neiva's late challenge caught a Sarutai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. André Luís Neiva hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Gamelleira FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gamelleira FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
