Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Richard Travassos started the match with the kick off. Gustavo Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Remo Machado made a huge save. Richard Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arabia AD's Waldir Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Cerezo in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Cerezo in the 10th minute of play forced Arabia AD's goalkeeper Waldir Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Adilson Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Waldir Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Imburana EC's Richard Travassos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Richard Travassos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arabia AD's Waldir Furlan. Waldir Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ernani Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernani Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imburana EC's Richard Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernani Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adilson Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ramón de Senna's late challenge caught a Arabia AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. Ernani Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remo Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. The Arabia AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Imburana EC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernani Leme to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Natã Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arabia AD and the Imburana EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Arabia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Brito, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 55th match minute, Arabia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Travassos in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adilson Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Travassos in the 66th minute of the match. Pedro Martins hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Waldir Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pedro Martins fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arabia AD's protests and gave Pedro Martins a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arabia AD's Pedro Martins got a free kick in the 69th minute. Imburana EC's Tomé Brito shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Waldir Furlan but with some difficulty. Ernani Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Remo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Furlan having to interfere. In the 85th minute Richard Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Enio Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Travassos in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adilson Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Furlan having to interfere. Adilson Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Arabia AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Imburana EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
