Mauro Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Adelino Meira managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Brigue FC's Renan Dionísio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hermínio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Beto Moreno had several of the Fraga's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adelino Meira as he didn't even see the shot coming. Beto Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kléberson Secco fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brigue FC's protests and gave Kléberson Secco a yellow card for diving instead. Kléberson Secco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Brigue FC's Wilian da Mata got a free kick in the 48th minute. After 48 played minutes, Fraga's Rodolfo Brodel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Sousa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fraga reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Moreno to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Beto Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói Trigo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Fraga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Beto Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Meira having to interfere. Adelino Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fraga getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hermínio Goiano hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Brigue FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
