In the 5th minute, one of Jacurutu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jacurutu. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for F.C Parafuso de Patrola. Jailson Faria stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilson Tinoco. 1-0. If Erasmo Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Simão struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Luiz Fernando Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacurutu. In the 19th match minute, F.C Parafuso de Patrola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes in the game, Diogo Garcia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilson Tinoco having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Diogo Garcia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Veloso got free with Wilson Tinoco in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maicon Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Garcia in the 39th minute of play forced Jacurutu's goalkeeper Wilson Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C Parafuso de Patrola's Diogo Garcia managed to work through Jacurutu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Diogo Garcia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a little luck, Jacurutu's Wilson Tinoco got control of the ball when Maicon Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão da Cunha during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Diogo Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cícero Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. If Diogo Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Jânio Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jacurutu getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alfredão da Cunha hit a great ball. Jailson Faria was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Diogo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Tinoco having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Maicon Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Tinoco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 73rd minute, Diogo Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Cícero Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luiz Fernando Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Vaz got free with Luiz Fernando Hoffmann in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Cícero Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fernando Hoffmann was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Parafuso de Patrola's zone, Cícero Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Hoffmann came out of the goal and Cícero Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacurutu's Wilson Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Veloso in the 87th minute of play. F.C Parafuso de Patrola's Maicon Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maicon Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to F.C Parafuso de Patrola getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Oscar Gonçalves hit a great ball. Erasmo Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Hoffmann having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C Parafuso de Patrola fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jacurutu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
