Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Faria started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Campidelis got free with Dráuzio Santana in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rubinho Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas de Alcântara having to interfere. The supporters of Taucapecacu booed when Engenho LD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Patrick Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Engenho LD getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Franklin Lira hit a great ball. Dráuzio Santana came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Engenho LD's Sérgio Campidelis. But to his dismay, Sérgio Campidelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dráuzio Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Faria in the 28th minute of play. Dráuzio Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Taucapecacu's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Faria came free, but Dráuzio Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubinho Leal in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas de Alcântara saved Engenho LD from getting behind. Mathias Rocha hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Taucapecacu's Lauro Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jarbas de Alcântara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taucapecacu reached it. Dráuzio Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Faria in the 40th minute of the match. Patrick Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jarbas de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Patrick Moraes made the kick off in the second half. If Patrick Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Engenho LD's Jarbas de Alcântara got control of the ball when Rubinho Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseu Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Faria in the 59th minute of play forced Taucapecacu's goalkeeper Dráuzio Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taucapecacu's Rubinho Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Engenho LD getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dinei Pombal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Engenho LD's Mathias Rocha got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 81st minute, Sandro Faria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engenho LD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jarbas de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Taucapecacu's Rubinho Leal. But to his dismay, Rubinho Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
