The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joélson Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Durvalino Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Faria having to interfere. Cafu Miranda succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Flamengo Itumbiara E.C.'s goalkeeper Joélson Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Miranda. Cafu Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Joélson Andrade made a huge save. Durvalino Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40thth minute of the game Durvalino Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quaraci FC's Sílvio Luiz Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kléberson Donatello succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durvalino Mendes to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Quaraci FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Donatello. 56 minutes into the game, Váldson Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Joélson Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joélson Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Donatello in the 60th minute of play. If Kléberson Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Mendes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durvalino Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Flamengo Itumbiara E.C.'s Sílvio Luiz Faria threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Durvalino Mendes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joélson Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Donatello in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Cafu Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
