Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sandrinho da Fonseca made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Michel Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Bittencourt. Fua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Júnior Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eurico Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Fantini in the 19th minute of the match. Sandrinho da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Peixoto having to interfere. When Matheus Lira fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derrubadinha's protests and gave Matheus Lira a yellow card for diving instead. Matheus Lira hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Sandrinho da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 37th minute, Valério Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Derrubadinha's Walmyr Peixoto got control of the ball when Valério Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bebeto de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Derrubadinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Eurico Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Fantini in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
57 minutes into the match, Derrubadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Monteiro came free, but Walmyr Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Fantini in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico Bittencourt saved Fua from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Valério Monteiro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Derrubadinha's Walmyr Peixoto. Walmyr Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Michel Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derrubadinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Valério Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sandrinho da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Walmyr Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandrinho da Fonseca in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
