Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Massa in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Renato Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago de Amaral in the 7th minute of play forced Alambary's goalkeeper Nico Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jorge Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alambary's protests and gave Jorge Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Fontes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Maurinho Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago de Amaral got free with Nico Arósio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Alambary got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Fontes. In the 25th minute, Alambary's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Luís Pereira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Jorge Fontes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. After 26 played minutes Alambary got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Fontes. In the 28th match minute, Itapoan SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Nico Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Thiago de Amaral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. André Luís Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nico Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago de Amaral in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Arósio saved Alambary from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Alambary's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago de Amaral came free, but Nico Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Fabiano Meirelles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nico Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joélson Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alambary's zone, Thiago de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Arósio came out of the goal and Thiago de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

André Luís Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Arósio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Alambary defense, Joélson Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nico Arósio. The Alambary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nico Arósio should have stopped the shot. Thiago de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nico Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nico Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapoan SS. In the 75th minute, Thiago de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 80 minutes, André Luís Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapoan SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nico Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio Garcia during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alambary's Otávio Garcia got a free kick in the 84th minute. Thiago de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
