The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Mucurepe getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ezequiel Abraão hit a great ball. Dadá Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Guilherme Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Toledo came free, but Alan Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Mucurepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Mucurepe's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Martins came free, but Dadá Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Pedro Borges during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alan Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Abraão went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Mucurepe's Alan Almeida threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kauan Toledo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute Kauan Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metolokos MZ Clube's Denílson Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kauan Toledo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ezequiel Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mucurepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Toledo in the 73rd minute of play. If Kauan Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Almeida having to interfere. If Kauan Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Metolokos MZ Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mucurepe.
