Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kaká Félix got the match started through his kick off. Kaká Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Alberto da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Pitta in the 11th minute of play forced Mairinque's goalkeeper Alberto da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Jefferson Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alberto da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Jefferson Pitta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto da Silveira. Mairinque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jefferson Pitta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jefferson Pitta took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto da Silveira. Alberto da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Jefferson Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto da Silveira having to interfere. Mairinque's Alberto da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Félix in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes in the game, Kaká Félix dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Alberto da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Félix in the 37th minute of play. Alberto da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Marco Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Piracicaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mairinque the free kick. The Clube Atlético Piracicaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Mairinque players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube Atlético Piracicaba were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fernando Vale to make the kick off. When Jefferson Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Clube Atlético Piracicaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Pitta couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Mairinque's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kaká Félix fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jefferson Pitta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alberto da Silveira made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Kaká Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaká Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Félix in the 62nd minute of play forced Mairinque's goalkeeper Alberto da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Kaká Félix made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Mairinque's Alberto da Silveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jefferson Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clube Atlético Piracicaba's Kaká Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jefferson Pitta in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Jefferson Pitta notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Mairinque's Alberto da Silveira. Alberto da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 96 minutes, Reinaldo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Piracicaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clube Atlético Piracicaba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
