José Vítor Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oséas Cerezo having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, FC Torino's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Borges came free, but Claudinei da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes, Evandro Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Torino and the Polvora players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinícius Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Patrício Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrício Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Polvora's Patrício Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Torino's Claudinei da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Torino from getting a goal against them. Felippe Gaúcho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Claudinei da Silveira 66 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 74th minute, but Claudinei da Silveira got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Torino hanging dry this time. After 76 minutes FC Torino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Tróia who took care of the corner kick. FC Torino's Claudinei da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Borges in the 79th minute of play. Ian Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, José Vítor Sena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Polvora's Oséas Cerezo didn't even have to move. Claudinei da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Felippe Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. José Vítor Costa struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Oséas Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Torino. A collision led to Polvora getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ian Alvarenga hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that José Vítor Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséas Cerezo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Polvora supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Polvora would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
