Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emiliano Steven kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes São Chico FC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Fontes. São Chico FC's Adalmo Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Torres in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Paraty F.C. booed when São Chico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Nilmar Pernambucano in the 8th minute really tested Adalmo Torres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. William da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Adalmo Torres made a huge save. The supporters of Paraty F.C. booed when São Chico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Torres in the 15th minute of play forced São Chico FC's goalkeeper Adalmo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio Damião's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adalmo Torres firmly grabbed it by the left post. William da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Adalmo Torres made a huge save. São Chico FC's Nilson Mangueira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dadá Miranda in the 20 minute of the game. Adalmo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraty F.C.'s zone, Emiliano Steven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Madureira came out of the goal and Emiliano Steven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Emiliano Steven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Chico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Steven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Emiliano Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Madureira came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by São Chico FC's Emiliano Steven. But to his dismay, Emiliano Steven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. São Chico FC's attentive Nilson Mangueira managed to snatch the ball when Dadá Miranda made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Romeu Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Steven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gláuber Torres was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Mário Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Chico FC and the Paraty F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mário Fontes hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Paraty F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Steven came free, but Romeu Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Paraty F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Arce. If Aníbal Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalmo Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William da Silveira in the 64th minute of the match. São Chico FC's Clóvis Carvalho was substituted for Mário Fontes. Dadá Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. São Chico FC's Jarbas Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Jarbas Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Paraty F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vitório da Silva. In the 81st minute, Emiliano Steven sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paraty F.C.'s Romeu Madureira didn't even have to move. After 83 played minutes São Chico FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Carvalho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Antunes during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paraty F.C.'s Daniel Antunes got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Emiliano Steven fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Chico FC's protests and gave Emiliano Steven a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes São Chico FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Steven. Thanks to some nice moves Aníbal Duarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Romeu Madureira however easily saved by the left post. If Emiliano Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Dalmo Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. São Chico FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
