If Angelo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golabeira's goalkeeper Arí Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Golabeira's Arí Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Baiano in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Angelo Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Aguiar in the 28th minute of play forced LIVERPOOL F.C's goalkeeper Ulisses da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Golabeira booed when LIVERPOOL F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses da Mata having to interfere. The Golabeira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LIVERPOOL F.C were winning 0-1.

Golabeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexsandro Azevedo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulisses da Mata. Ulisses da Mata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Claudinho Baiano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alexsandro Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulisses da Mata was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Golabeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Prata to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
