Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manoel Quirino made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Baluarte got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Salgado. Manoel Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Corrêa having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Baluarte's Pedro Luiz Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnaldo de Queiroz. Arnaldo de Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 14 minutes in the game, Pedro Luiz Silva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnaldo de Queiroz having to interfere. Arnaldo de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Baluarte's Ezequiel Cardoso. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ezequiel Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vestia's Manoel Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Caio Passos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vestia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio Passos couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Baluarte getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Wilton Campidelis hit a great ball. Manoel Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Arnaldo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Silva in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Manoel Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vestia's supporters rose to their feet, but Manoel Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurinho Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manoel Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Kiko Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baluarte and the Vestia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vestia booed when Baluarte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Kiko Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Vestia's Agnaldo de Moraes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ezequiel Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói de Medeiros during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Baluarte got a freekick which was hit by Elói de Medeiros. Manoel Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Baluarte could leave the field as winners, despite Vestia having more of the ball for most of the match.
