Aroases AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Sá in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Zézinho das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dida Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alberto Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Dida Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Sá went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Jerônimo Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aroases AD booed when Lemos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Jerônimo Freire made the kick off in the second half. Nuno Fontes was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Jerônimo Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerônimo Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Aroases AD's Nuno Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Freire in the 84th minute of play. Lemos SC's Jerônimo Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerônimo Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nuno Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 94 in the game by Gonçalo Sá from a close distance when the talented Nuno Fontes managed to make a qualified save. Aroases AD's players were relieved. When the match was over Lemos SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aroases AD throughout the match.
