The Aroases AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Fontes should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Carlos Eduardo Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rajadinha AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eduardo Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ismael Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aroases AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Rubinho Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Dida Donato notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rajadinha AD's Rubinho Azevedo. Rubinho Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nuno Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Kauan Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nuno Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 93rd minute, Carlos Eduardo Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gláuber Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Fontes having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
