In the 32nd match minute, FC DALLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Tróia to maneuver through the defense. If Gustavo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benê Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Kiko Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC DALLAS's goalkeeper Benê Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC DALLAS booed when Chapadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisão Leão hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes, FC DALLAS's Rômulo Cardoso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nildo Romero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC DALLAS reached it. When Luiz Fábio Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapadinho's protests and gave Luiz Fábio Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Fábio Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chapadinho's zone, Kiko Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo Romero came out of the goal and Kiko Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ruy Tepedino made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Terra during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes FC DALLAS got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Terra. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Víktor Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC DALLAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Tepedino in the 81st minute of play forced FC DALLAS's goalkeeper Benê Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Benê Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
