Dito Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Víktor Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Víktor Damião. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Aparecido during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeremias Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amílton Goiano hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Timbo's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Mangueira came free, but Víktor Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Damião having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Freitas got free with Conrado Duarte in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Barcelona Fc's Rubens Goiano got a free kick in the 87th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Timbo's Davi Melo tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jeremias Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jaime Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Conrado Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Mangueira took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Víktor Damião. Víktor Damião dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Barcelona Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Timbo for a fine match.
