When Dráuzio Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smesh's protests and gave Dráuzio Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ibiatiara booed when Smesh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernani Machado was the one to do the kick off. Jailson Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Paraense having to interfere. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibiatiara's goalkeeper Agenor Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jailson Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jailson Bueno scored 1-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agenor Paraense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jailson Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiatiara's zone, Jefferson Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Paraense came out of the goal and Jefferson Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jailson Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jailson Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
