In the 11th minute Jailson Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Koehler in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jefferson Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smesh's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Marques having to interfere. If Jefferson Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jailson Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Smesh got a freekick which was hit by Yan de Medeiros. After 37 played minutes Smesh got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Esteves. Jailson Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ulysses Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakuna Matata's Ulysses Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Hakuna Matata from getting a goal against them. If Jailson Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulysses Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Smesh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hakuna Matata.
