Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fiori Cardozo took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Paulo Brito came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monlolo's Nuno Tasso. But to his dismay, Nuno Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Ibiquara defense, José Vítor Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Paulo Brito. The Ibiquara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Paulo Brito should have stopped the shot. José Vítor Arantes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sandro Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdemar Hames in the 21st minute. Hugo de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Soares having to interfere. When Nuno Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Monlolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Tasso couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Vítor Arantes during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, José Vítor Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ibiquara's Hugo de Castro in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sandro Soares guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Monlolo's Sandro Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Monlolo from getting a goal against them. The Ibiquara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monlolo were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Hugo de Castro made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Fiori Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Paulo Brito was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Fiori Cardozo in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiquara's zone, Nuno Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Brito came out of the goal and Nuno Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hugo de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ibiquara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo de Castro couldn't finish the play. Sandro Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo de Castro in the 64th minute of play. Sandro Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Ibiquara got a freekick which was hit by Tony Paranaense. When Valdemar Hames fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibiquara's protests and gave Valdemar Hames a yellow card for diving instead. Fiori Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Paulo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Fiori Cardozo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Paulo Brito. Fiori Cardozo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Sandro Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Nuno Tasso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Paulo Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. José Paulo Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiori Cardozo in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Monlolo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
