The supporters of Monlolo booed when 373 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Monlolo got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Tasso. After 41 played minutes, 373 FC's Gil Tepedino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandro Soares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 373 FC reached it. After 44th play minutes Dida Capixaba shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Sandro Soares and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fiori Cardozo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Capixaba in the 52nd minute of play forced Monlolo's goalkeeper Sandro Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Toledo having to interfere. Ademar Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Monlolo got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Loureiro. Ademar Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Cardozo in the 67th minute of the match. Fiori Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ademar Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monlolo. The referee ignored Monlolo's protests and gave Sabino Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Monlolo got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Loureiro. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind 373 FC's goalkeeper Ademar Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeferson Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Monlolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Macedo to maneuver through the defense. If Jeferson Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Arantes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jeferson Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Soares having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
