Henrique Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Vides in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Passamo got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Lucas. Manuel Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Paes made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Dito Severo sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the game, one of Passamo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wilton Paes had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Sidnei Trevisan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 9 minutes into the game, Sidnei Trevisan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wilton Paes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrique Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Vides's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. When Passamo's Jefferson Gerber in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curicica's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Manuel Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curicica's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Manuel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jefferson Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséias Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, one of Curicica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curicica. The referee gave Passamo a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Augusto de Mendonça, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curicica's Henrique Andrade. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Passamo's Gilberto de Queiroz got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jefferson Gerber was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th match minute, Curicica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Gerber struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Henrique Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passamo. In the 63rd minute Jefferson Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curicica's Henrique Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Curicica from getting a goal against them. Jefferson Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Jardel Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Passamo and the Curicica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Passamo got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Maia. Wilton Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Nuno Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Curicica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank do Valle to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Passamo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
