The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nuno Vides's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Erivaldo Sergipano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Passamo's Jefferson Gerber in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Erivaldo Sergipano guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Erivaldo Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jefferson Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Erivaldo Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Passamo's Wilton Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Soares in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Passamo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Gerber in the 26th minute of the match. Jefferson Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erivaldo Sergipano having to make a save. Erivaldo Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jefferson Gerber's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Erivaldo Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Vides in the 35th minute. If Nuno Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Passamo's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafim Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Matías Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute of the match José Augusto de Mendonça sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erivaldo Sergipano skillfully saved the ball. Passamo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
