Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nova Aliança FC's Natã Lima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Vitinho Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Aliança FC the free kick. Vitinho Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Enéas Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enéas Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Leandro Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosaria. If Natã Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enéas Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Rosaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Leandro Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Barbosa in the 28th minute of play. Nova Aliança FC's Leandro Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Barbosa in the 30th minute of play. Cafu Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leandro Vander came out and tried to block the shot, but Cafu Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Leandro Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Barbosa in the 37th minute of play. Natã Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tião Simões. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natã Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leandro Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Barbosa in the 52nd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Remo Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tião Simões. Rosaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remo Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The long shot by Aluísio Recife in the 63rd minute really tested Tião Simões's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Cafu Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Natã Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nova Aliança FC's Remo Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Natã Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Natã Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Tião Simões skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Natã Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tião Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nova Aliança FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rosaria had won, even though Nova Aliança FC had held more of the ball.
