Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeca de Brito started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Ventura's zone, Zeca de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Moura came out of the goal and Zeca de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kauan da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 played minutes Jaboticabas got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Simão. When Frederico de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Grêmio Ventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico de Amaral couldn't finish the play. Kauan da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Armando Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Hoffmann had several of the Grêmio Ventura's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Iuri Moura as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca de Brito in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zeca de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Kauan da Silva made the kick off in the second half. Iuri Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
