Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Barigui EC's Paulo Rosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Manibu AD got a freekick which was hit by Jano de Castro. When Paulo Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Barigui EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Maranhense couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Barigui EC's Paulo Maranhense got a free kick in the 9th minute. Leopoldo Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Campidelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Manibu AD's William Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luizão Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Tales Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Manibu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Rosa came free, but Erivaldo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tales Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barigui EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes Barigui EC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Maranhense. The supporters of Manibu AD booed when Barigui EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luizão Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Barigui EC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Maranhense. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Vale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luizão Campidelis. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. If Leopoldo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when William Andrade made the kick off in the second half. When Jano de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manibu AD's protests and gave Jano de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Manibu AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tales Tavares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Erivaldo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Rosa in the 57th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Marcinho Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manibu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barigui EC the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Manibu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Arósio to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Raí de Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barigui EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manibu AD the free kick. After 62 played minutes Barigui EC got a freekick which was hit by Raí de Alcântara. Barigui EC's Luizão Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Andrade in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barigui EC's Paulo Rosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erivaldo Antunes. That made the score 1-1 after 77 minutes of play. A collision led to Manibu AD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Wanderson Secco hit a great ball. If Paulo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Leopoldo Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luizão Campidelis having to make a save. Barigui EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Manibu AD to leave the ground with a draw.
